2024 Weekly Classes begin Monday June 24
Each 5-day class week runs Monday thru Friday
Sign-up for either MORNING or AFTERNOON classes, or register for both to enjoy an ALL-DAY sailing experience. Class sizes are limited, students are assigned by age/skill level and supervised by experienced instructors in a safe but fun environment. They achieve life long personal and technical skills.
THE 8-WEEK CLASS SCHEDULE:
Week 1: June 24 - June 28
Week 2: July 1 - July 5 (NO classes on July 4)*
Week 3: July 8 - July 12
Week 4: July 15 - July 19
Week 5: July 22 - July 26
Week 6: July 29 - Aug 2
Week 7: Aug 5 - Aug 9
Week 8: Aug 12 - Aug 16
*Tuition will be reduced $72. for Week 2
MORNING CLASSES:
Monday Thru Friday 9:00 am to 12 noon
For BEGINNER and INTERMEDIATE Level Sailors.
Curriculums Designed for Ages 8-11 and 12+
Sailing Optis, Capri 14's, and Club 420’s.
Class Check-In times for MONDAY mornings:
Ages 8 to 11 - 8:30 am to 8:45 am
Ages 12+ - 8:45 am to 9:00 am
All other days please arrive by 9:00 am.
Important: The NSA clubhouse opens at 8:30 am. DO NOT drop children off on class days before 8:30 am .
AFTERNOON CLASSES:
Monday Thru Friday 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
For BEGINNER and INTERMEDIATE level Sailors.
Curriculums Designed for Ages 8-11 and 12+
Sailing Optis, Capri 14's, and Club 420’s.
Class Check-In Times for Monday afternoons:
Ages 8 to 11 - 12:30 pm to 12:45 pm
Ages 12+ - 12:45 pm to 1:00 pm
All other days please arrive by 1:00 pm.
Important: Children must be picked up promptly at 4:00 pm when classes end.
One week of Morning, or Afternoon Class Instruction is $360. Sailors who take both morning & afternoon classes in the same week are encouraged to bring their lunch and stay at the clubhouse with the instructors.
NSA accepts payment by credit or debit card only. An invoice and secure payment link will be emailed to you a few days before each class week begins. You will receive a separate invoice for each class week and for each child.
Payment is due on the first day of each class week.
We are a small, non-profit organization offering sailing instruction by the week only. We cannot prorate the weekly tuition or offer refunds to those who miss class days due to poor weather, scheduling conflict, illness or other personal need. We cannot accept cash or checks.
Please do not bring items of value to class. NSA is not responsible for any personal items lost or damaged by sailors enrolled in the Junior Sailing Program.
We may take photos of junior sailors and instructors during class for our website, or to otherwise promote the sailing program on a non-attributed basis.
Our scholarship funds are limited, but financial assistance based on need may be available. These scholarships are only available for afternoon sessions. Inquire by calling NSA at (508) 255-6858, or email us: juniorsailing@namequoitsailing.org
